It all began in 1950 in Vara, Sweden, when Karl Erik Andersson received his first order for a washing machine from his mother. Karl Erik built a small factory on the farm and started making washing machines full time. The Encore is a dishwasher that handles items that used to require hand washing. Designed to be used in an entertainment setting as well as be a companion to your current dishwasher, the Encore fits into your lifestyle. Crystal, large chargers, large pans and even stockpots are treated with special care in the Encore. The unique racks and cycles have been redesigned and the spray arms have been positioned to make this a unique product that can accommodate items that have previously been difficult to wash in a standard dishwasher.

The D3731XLFIENC is a hidden control model with push buttons and an LCD display. This dishwasher displays 6 specialized wash programs, time remaining, temperature and options. It remembers the last program used and can operate in multiple languages. HD models have a Touch Proof stainless steel front with a straight towel-bar handle.

The new Asko Flexi Racks are designed around your lifestyle. They are constructed from heavy-gauge wire and have fold down tines. The lower rack is constructed to handle all types of dishes, even oversized stoneware. The upper rack has extra height on the sides to provide better support for tall glasses. Ergonomic handles make it easy to pull the baskets in and out. The cutlery basket stands firmly on four feet, yet can be moved side to side in order to make room for lager items. Certain models have a third level cutlery basket.
